Use of customer photos on the web site

If you are submitting photos – It’s very important that you read this first!

Before submitting photos of your D.I.E. Buck(s), be sure you realize that those photos are going to be made public. You acknowledge that you are aware that third-parties might access and redistribute them through the internet.

  • Current digital photographs have the location where the photo was taken embedded in the photo’s properties. The latitude and longitude give any viewer of the photo the exact location that the photo was taken. Many smart phones have built in cameras with this technology.
  • To see if your photo has a GPS tracking capability embedded in it, just right click on the digital photograph and then left click on properties. If you see the latitude and longitude listed, then you are at risk of another person or the whole world knowing where you took that photo.
  • By submitting your photo to us, you are acknowledging that you are aware of this issue and that you either removed the latitude and longitude data from the photos before sending them to us, or you simply do not care about it. We are not responsible for removing the latitude or longitude data from the embedded properties of your submitted photos. Once you submit any photos to us we have your expressed consent to make them public on or any other website we are running at the time.
  • We will not post any photos that I (Bob J. Mercier) personally took while on private One On One’s with my clients, unless those photos have the latitude and longitude data removed previously and they do not have any specific location being identified as to the parcel of land or the owner of the land where the image of item in the photograph was captured. I only post these pictures with the client’s permission, which I gained from them while on our One On One, prior to being allowed to take the photos. We may use any photo that is submitted to us, or taken by us, on our website, at our discretion, and that of no other person. When I show a photo I will explain what it is and in which county and state it the photo was taken.
  • We will not post any photos that include D.I.E. scrapes or of the names or bottles of the lures D.I.E. hunters use, (on this web site). These are secrets that only D.I.E. hunters have a right to know. Although other people will see what they look like, they will not know how to use them on a D.I.E. hunt, unless they read the book. “DOMINANCE IS EVERYTHING… To A Monster Whitetail Buck!”

D.I.E. Bucks must be legally harvested

This site is a place for law abiding hunters to be proud of. We do not hunt in the dark. We do not use a light to see our quarry. We do not trespass on other people’s property to get a deer. We believe in what we are! We are invisible to deer, and we will hunt until we take our last breath, just to share the same space with a monster buck in the wild. There are 10 million deer hunters in the United States, and all of them could end up to be D.I.E. hunters if they read my book.

We promote D.I.E. hunters, and the D.I.E. bucks that are taken on legal hunts only. If we get word that one of our D.I.E. hunters had taken a deer illegally, we will ban him or her from all recognition as a D.I.E. hunter, and we will remove your name and your buck from records. Any/all awards you may have received from us for your D.I.E. buck will be voided and you will not be allowed to attend any future D.I.E. seminars or private lessons from Bob. Bob has strong feelings about hunting by the rules and he will not promote the wrongdoings of others while he is in charge of the D.I.E. hunters and the awards they are given.

It is your job to tell us the true facts and circumstances about the first successful D.I.E. hunt you have. We have no respect for those men and women that break the law to take a trophy buck. They will not be allowed to brag that they got a D.I.E. buck on our behalf.

Be true to your heart, and hunt with a passion, as every man and woman who purchases a D.I.E. book should. Obey fish and game laws and be willing to turn those who violate them in to the DNR. Game violators give all hunters a bad name.
